With a unique combination of corporate
human resources expertise and international consulting experience,
Bob has developed a well-earned reputation for helping companies build
successful global organizations.
During a 28-year career at General Electric Bob was instrumental in
developing initiatives that accelerated leadership transformation
at GE Appliances, strengthened the technical talent pipeline, and
expanded the effectiveness of the company’s globalization efforts.
Bob structured and implemented a highly successful employee involvement
program for the application of GE’s Work-Out strategy. He served
as an internal consultant in evaluating and bridging cultural gaps
in understanding, and developing human resource strategies for transnational
partnerships in India, China, Korea, and Mexico. Bob has designed
and delivered action learning leadership workshops around the world.
From 1996-1998 Bob served as internal consultant to the Presidents,
Transformation Leaders, and the Executive Leadership Academy of LG,
one of Korea’s largest chaebols. As a catalyst for change, he
worked directly with senior executives and a team of instructor/coaches
to explain, demonstrate, and apply global best practices for employee
involvement, boundaryless organization, change acceleration, succession
planning, and team organization for new product introduction.
Bob began consulting independently in 1998 and continues to work with
numerous multinational organizations in the areas of leadership development,
cultural alignment, and global human resources strategy.
Bob received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science and International
Relations from the University of Colorado, and a Bachelors Degree
in Foreign Trade from Thunderbird Graduate School of International
Management. He received his Masters in Education in Human Resource
Development from Vanderbilt University and is a graduate of the Advanced
Program in Human Resource Management and Organization Development
at Columbia University. |
